Rule 94
Duties, Duties and Powers of the Principal
The duties, duties and powers of the Principal shall be as follows:-
(a) To maintain educational environment, quality, discipline in the school,
(b) To create an environment of mutual support among teachers, staff, students and parents by coordinating with the teachers and staff of the school,
(c) To do the necessary work to maintain discipline, orderliness, decency in the school,
(d) To prepare a program related to the conduct of classes in the school in consultation with the teachers and to inspect whether the classes are conducted according to such program,
(e) Arrange for cleanliness, extracurricular activities etc. in the school,
(f) Conducting and controlling the administrative work of the school,
(G) Enrolling students in schools and conducting examinations (h) Granting transfer and other certificates to students,
(i) Keeping a record of the important work done in the school,
(j) If a teacher knowingly or negligently causes any damage to the school, the amount of such damage shall be deducted from the salary and recovered,
(k) If the teachers or employees appointed by the school from their own resources do not fulfill their official responsibilities, taking other departmental action including retirement as recommended by the management committee,
(l) To keep a record of punishment given to teachers and staff and to show such record to the district education officer and inspector if they want to see it,
(D) To submit a report on the conduct and performance of teachers and staff to the District Education Office and Management Committee (d) To recommend to the management committee and the district education office regarding the punishment or reward to the teacher,
(n) At least once a month, the meeting of the teachers shall be called to discuss school-related matters and keep a record of the same (p) To submit to the management committee for passing the salary report of the teachers and employees who are appointed to receive salary allowance from the school's resources,
(th) Within the arms of the school building and hostelDo not allow the same kind of indecent behavior,
(D) Make an annual plan of the school and get it approved by the management committee,
(d) Make and implement monthly, half-yearly and annual programs related to study and teaching in the school,
(N) to send the teacher for training to the district education office with approval from the management committee,
(c) To expel a student if he breaks discipline in the school,
(f) To implement the curriculum and textbooks approved by the Government of Nepal in schools,
(b) to spend money according to the instructions given by the management committee and according to the authority he has received, and to keep accounts of income and expenses,
(b) To conduct periodic examinations conducted in schools in a regular and dignified manner,
(i) If more than fifteen percent of students fail in the subject taught by a teacher for three consecutive years, or if a teacher acts negligently or indiscipline, suspending the salary increase of such teacher for two years,
(Y) To take classes in schools daily as prescribed by the Ministry and to make them take them (R) To send the salary report of the teachers who are employed in Darwandi approved by the Government of Nepal to the District Education Office for approval,
